Born in the western part of Germany in a small town in the vicinity of Düsseldorf, I soon found out that I am made for the city, where modern life takes place. After five years in Düsseldorf I moved to Berlin. For eight years I lived in the German capital, until I finally moved to Holland. That's where I live now. In the meantime, I have adopted very much as I usually do. But still there are old habits and warm feelings that won't go away. They don't have to! I often watch German television via satellite, and I listen to i.a. German music. I love Dutch Music as well, by the way... I visit my old home country on a regular basis. But for the rest, I feel as a European, or even more so, a citizen of the world - however, with a Christian background.
