Anders Karlstedt

.Anders Karlstedt started to sing and do Elvis tribute shows in 1991 and continued through 1997. He performed in Norden and traveled to the United States in 1996. During that time, he performed on stage with a 16-piece band. Today, he does more of his own shows and writes songs and music. On his last recording, “I Walk My Own Way”, he worked with Py Bäckman, the great singer and songwriter. The bands Anders sometimes works with are Tompa Rockers, T Cats, TCL, Intruders, and Red Hot Max. He has been on tour with DJ Fontana, Stan Perkins, and Charlie Hodge. In 1997, Anders sang with The Jordanaires, one of Elvis’s original backup vocal groups, in Arnhem, Holland. He again traveled to the United States in 2008 to record “In Elvis’s Footsteps/From Nashville to Graceland” in Nashville with The Jordanaires and Sherill Nielsen. The recording will be released in May 2008. Today, Anders does his own rock ’n’ roll shows, but he sings Elvis’s songs and his own songs. He keeps Elvis’s music alive when singing with his band or solo.
