ina nutshell.
I grew up in Kansas City exposed to all kinds of music,
mainly from my pops, a rock&roll / blues drummer for some 40-50 years.
Started playing drums as soon as I could touch the peddles, guitar and bass followed shortly after. In my teens I listened to everything from Nirvana to Clapton and Dre to Bob ... Sublime ... hell you name it.
After high school (around 95-96) I went to my first party.
I fell HARD for drum and bass and breaks and moved my ass to Savannah Ga. and started fumbling around DJing , Producing and throwing party's. I had the time of my life for about 6 years until I lost my freedom for some fungi . After dealing with that for a few years I decided to put my head down and start a career in programming. Making beats was always something I loved but 1 had absolutely no source of knowledge to work from and 2 I always felt like what I was making wasn't truly what I wanted to do. Then I found Dubstep. The perfect balance of Hiphop , Reggae and Drum&Bass. What free time I have. I try to spend in my headphones.
