Kerry Starr has an undying love for music. Born in kingston jamaica Kerry-Ann Morgan is grateful for the gift of music that was influenced by her father at an early age, as he was always singing and playing the guitar . Kerry decided to pursue music as a career and joined the Ashe Caribbean performing arts and ensemble where she spent most of her time educating herself in all areas of the performing arts.
Kerry has been in musicals, over eighteen music videos, She has also danced and choreograph music videos such as ‘Tuk een yuh belly’, (Left Side and Esco), ‘Bam Bam’ (Shaggy and Toots Hibbert), ‘Higher Level’, ‘Ruhhh’, ‘Nuh Junjo’ (Elephant Man) and many others. Kerry’s hard work paid off when she began touring with a reggae band from California called “Groundationâ€, where she got a real taste touring, and the joys of leaving an audience entertained after a show. Kareem Goodison from the Orangehill Musik Label head a music video, Kerry’s first single on the Orangehill label the video can be currently seen on Youtube.com. Kerry has recently done collaboration with dancehall artiste, Mr. Lex, and a singer Mamela aka Rudy, called ‘Roam with me’, which was produced by Casper- Hotwire Productions. Also, a single, entitled ‘Believe It’, on the ‘Tune In’ rhythm produced by Sly and Robbie and Orville ''Rory'' Baker, on the Taxi Label. Her single, 'Believe It', on the 'Tune In' rhythm produced by Sly and Robbie on the Taxi Label, has been doing really well .. Kerry Starr is now working with producers Cordel 'Skatta' Burrell and Peter 'Shady' Leslie and has released a dancehall track, 'Dancing Queen', featuring RDX, on the INYF label and was recently feature on a track with Anthony B. Kerry Starr is managed by INYF productions. Expect great music from Kerry Starr, as she is ready to let her voice be heard continuously on the Jamaican music scene and internationally in 2010 and beyond.
