About Me

Hi, Myspace people! My name is Bill, but I prefer Will. My birthday is October 13. In 2013, I will be 33, which means I'm 27 right now. I'm all about toast - dark, dark toast. When I was little, I tied my sister to a tree in the neighbor's yard and forgot about her for hours. I feel bad about that, but I think it's funny. I also gave her a sign that read "Sister for Sale" and told her to sit on the curb and smile when cars go by. That was mean, but I think it's funny. I believe I have a friendly and simple philosophy of music and life. I view my own music in the following way: I don't take it too seriously, it usually makes me happy and it's good for what it is. I have been able to recite "The Raven" from memory since the sixth grade. I once stole something expensive, but I felt guilty and got caught bringing it back. My cat says one of her earliest memories from kittenhood was the time I held her up in the air in the middle of the desert in New Mexico. These are some songs. These songs were produced and recorded in my little bedroom studio at my parents' house. I have dubbed it the "Ocean Studio," since I live by the Atlantic and love the sea. I still live with my parents, which is both bogus and sad, but at least I have a cable access show and I still know how to party! Sparrows and pigeons make me happy and so do bodies of water. I would not be able to communicate without spellcheck and dictionary.com. I love cooked broccoli with garlic salt. I enjoy James Thurber and children's books. I don't understand anything I read, but I can fake my way through most situations. I often plagiarize Woody Allen. Stir-fry? Scrambled eggs? I'll flip you out. Magnum combat boots are my footware of choice. I play guitar. For musical growth and influence, I owe thanks to more people than I can list here. My little sister is my sunshine. She also used to be my boss and I feel bad about that because I love her. Right now I work at Atlantic Books on the boardwalk. My soul is happy there. It blooms wonderfully each passing hour and brings out the best in me, I think. I attended ACCC and Rutgers University for a while, but didn't graduate. I majored in philosophy, political science and history. The only real result of my college career was an acquired love of Spinoza, his life and his ideas. I still read books about him. I love arts and crafts and have a special affection for dreamcatchers. It makes me sad that spiders roll onto their backs and curl in their legs when they die. They look really unhappy. Dreamcatchers make me think of spiders and vice versa. I'm not good at drawing people or anatomically correct action heroes. Larry David is one of my heroes. When I discover snakes in our calming yet overgrown garden, I rejoice and write about it in my profile. I roll my own cigarettes, so I'm helpful to have around if a joint needs to be rolled. I like Bali Shag. My friend Aparna introduced me to it. You should try it. I've been told I have a good nose. I never deliberately match my socks. My dog is named Mister Zapatos and my cat is named Ashley Judd. When it snows, I like to walk in the woods. When it rains, I like to watch and listen to it. When it's sunny, I stay indoors with the shades drawn. I believe there are secret hypocrite police who take away hypocrites in the middle of the night. I love basketball. My fist doesn't fit in my mouth. In weird moods I stop traffic, scream at people and start fights, but usually I'm calm like a duckling or ceiling fan. There are five fans in my room. One of them is broken. The other four are always on except when I'm recording. I believe everything happens for a reason, but nothing has a purpose. If anything has to do with anything else, it can probably be reduced to the fact that there is a duck. My sister thinks I'm dumb because I once asked if Marsha and Greg got it on in the original Brady Bunch. I flourish at night and in the wind. Windy nights rock! I can eat fifteen tomatoes in a row if I have some salt. The girl of my dreams constantly makes the lamest jokes and cracks herself up every time. I enjoy watching lacrosse. I've been creating music for about 16 years and recording for about 10. I barely know how to read and write music and I've learned most of what I know from expanding on the same simple things billions of times. I'm always down to try something new. I get into all types of music, except country. Country instrumental, maybe. Chet Atkins! If someone wants to jam or exchange recordings or start a project or anything else that's totally awesomistical, let me know! Bill's Angels - Ready to Clean Up the Badguys! It's just one fucking thing after another until eudaimonia.
