Blackberry wine is the musical diary of Rachel. She records songs and writes stories on her computer about the things that happen to her and the things that don’t.
Her music is scientific / astro / computerized / keyboard type way out stuff. Or so some people say.
At the beginning for the year Rachel released a mini album called “The Look-Back Time†which was recorded whilst thinking about the universe and impossible love. The Look-Back Time was then re-released by “Cosy Recordings†a few months later along with another EP called (notes + numbers) = (shapes + colours). This was also being recorded whilst thinking about the universe and impossible love. Rachel wishes she hadn’t chosen such a long name for this EP because she can never remember what she called it.
Blackberry Wine also released a full length split CD with the The Local Heroes on Series Two Records. The CD is called “Museums for Memoriesâ€. Which is a much more sensible length for a record title and can be bought from the Series Two website .
Rachel is currently writing stories about lovelorn sailors, stubborn old men and awkward customers for an album she hopes to release the album at the start of next year.
