About Me
Hanna has a far-reaching background as a dancer: introduced to Oriental dance at the age of ten she has since studied for a great number of well-renowned dancers and choreographers in Sweden and Egypt.
From 1999–2003 she studied for Suzanne Petrén Abou Shebika and Mohamed Abou Shebika at the Egyptian Cultural Center in Stockholm, where she subsequently taught and worked as a dancer in the dance group Nefertari.
Hanna is a highly merited and intensely appreciated solo artist since several years, with a work field ranging from Europe, West- and Northern Africa, to the Middle East and Indonesia. She has performed at a great numbers of venues such as Swedish National Television (SVT); Globen, Stockholm; Cairo Opera House; Alexandria Opera House; and Mohammed V Theatre in Rabat, Morocco.
During autumn and winter of 2007, Hanna was seen as Lola in Nikos Kazantzakis musical Zorba at Malmö Opera. In early 2008, Hanna made her talent as choreographer known in Helsingborg City Theatre’s sensation show The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Hanna is also an engaged and esteemed dance pedagogue and regularly teaches a variety of Oriental styles at some of Malmö’s most prominent dance schools...
