About Me

I grew up in Jersey City, now live in Jersey City. In between there was Rochester, Boston and Tel Aviv. I'm happy I decided to be a musician since it brought me to a lot of amazing places and introduced me to amazing people. I've had the pleasure and honor of working with good friends in groups such as the Israel Contemporary String Quartet, Tel Aviv Soloists, Suedama, Artemis Ensemble, Wild Ginger, The New Math, Catshow Snapshots, and with groups led by Matana Roberts, Savion Glover, Daniel Roumain, Anthony Braxton, Joe Maneri and Butch Morris. I've worked with composers such as Steve Reich, Ella Milch-Sharif, Josef Bardanashvili, Dikla Baniel, Yehezkel Braun, Ben Zion Orgad, Bright Sheng, Judd Greenstein, and Jorrit Dijkstra. Festivals include Singapore and Vancouver Jewish Music Festivals, Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Verbier in Switzerland, Prussia Cove in England, and Kneisel Hall in Maine. Maine's the best. I love Maine. Also, in 2007 I started Con Vivo, a series of free chamber music concerts in Jersey City. The website's www.convivomusic.org.cheers!
