In 2006, Lukas von Flüe (drums), Flu Iten (guitars) and Mischa Podstransky (Keyboards) formed the band “Tenebraâ€. The three musicians had already played in various bands before. They started to write songs, mainly belonging to the category of melodic metal. Soon, Sémion Landtwing (Bass) and Martial in Albon (Vocals) joined the band. It took quite a while to find a second guitarist until Flo Muggli finally joined the band. Just one month after their completion, Tenebra played their first gig in a club named Industrie 45 in September 2006. The concert was a full success and further concerts were given with many other bands in Zug, Zürich and Aargau. At the end of 2006, Tenebra had a big brake-through when they qualified for the band-contest “Sprungfederâ€. It gave them the opportunity to participate in the finals in the KKL in Lucerne. Tenebra won second prize, which came as a big surprise for everyone since a lot of different styles of music were represented. During Mischa Podstransky’s language studies in America, no concerts took place for half a year and during that period, new songs were written and preparations were made for the now finished demo-tape, which was recorded in summer 2007.
