A diverse range of free workshops & opportunities are made available to young people. The workshops are catered to working with marginalised & at-risk young people,from 12-25 years of age. MUSE projects include vocal training, song writing, legal aerosol art, production, stage performance, dance, film, career guidance, percussion, guitar, sports & academic tutoring. many of today’s youth lack opportunities to develop their creative gifts. We are actively cultivating young people’s creativity & self-expression. Creativity also inspires and motivates youth volunteerism. Workshops that develop young people’s creativity and self-expression can be effective in strengthening other key life skills, including critical thinking, problem solving, communication, respect, and team-work. Our workshops nurture young people’s self-confidence. Young people gain confidence through doing what they love, whether its dance, theatre, sport, or graffiti.M.U.S.E provides:- Skilled Hip-Hop facilitators, who specialise in working with under priviledged youth in Australia, South Africa and Indonesia.- Song Writing Workshops: These sessions incorporate both lyric writing and structure, aswell as digital music/beat creation.- A state-of-the-art recording studio.- CD Production Equipment: We produce a CD compilation of the music recorded by the young people at the workshops.- MC/Rap/singing Workshops: we work through exercises that help beginners to experts get their freestyling abilities in shape. helps improve english, spelling and literature.- Dance workshops: skilled choreographers.- DJ Workshops: The turntables, the records, the mixing and scratching, the works.- Sports workshops: celebrity guest speakers- Basic web Design tutoring and training, HTML and basic website design. how to use creative software, like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, flash and Macromedia Dreamweaver.[LOVEMYFLASH][/LOVEMYFLASH]
