Francesca L Hall- Composer

About Me

I am the in-house composer for a production company where I have written numerous scores including the soundtrack for the award winning film 'Detention.'

Music has always been in my blood and being born to a Hungarian Concert Pianist mother can only have helped! I have been playing the piano since the age of four and composing since even earlier. I dabbled with the violin but found my true calling at the piano and began improvising at age 8.
It has been my life long ambition to compose music for film soundtracks and so you can imagine my delight to be offered the opportunity to write the score for (and star in) the supernatural thriller 'Incubus', which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2005. A lifelong partnership was also forged as the film was written and directed by my now husband Tristan Hall.
