Founded in 1999, IMPERIO jp is a lifestyle showroom focused on bringing the finest goods from around the world to the US and Europe. We seek out skilled and talented craftsmen, artisans, and workshops that use local materials and that have previously never exported. IMPERIO’s mission is to develop exquisite fashion, accessories, and home décor that meets the exacting standards of discerning store buyers, fashion stylists and interior designers the world over, thereby creating sustainable businesses for our craftsmen. Jessica Packer - the Empress - spent 16 years working in the finance arena as a portfolio manager, trader, and corporate credit investment banker in high yield and emerging markets prior to establishing IMPERIO jp. As a founding member of the Washington International School, her admiration for every culture and country was instilled at an early age and she finds beauty in every pocket of the world. Her ability to understand the difficulties of business in developing countries, and the desires of clients in the US and Europe made it an easy choice to open the doors to this showroom and develop exquisite items from scratch that have never been seen before. If she had seen it in a store or a magazine, then she wouldn’t make it, whereas if something couldn’t be found, it would then be fashioned and produced. IMPERIO wants to help keep America beautiful - at a party or a dinner, at the beach or in the workplace, or simply lounging at home.
