About Me

I live in (mostly) sunny Southern California. Where life is like a bowl of Granola, what ain't fruits n nuts, is flakes. Sad but true. I own my own painting and drywall business, but it didn't start like that. First I was a commercial artist, working for such clients as Disney, Warner Bros., Marvel Comics, and the local Jazz and Blues festivals. When I was slow, I painted signs, and when that got slow, I painted houses. I soon discovered that painting houses provided little in the way of stress and deadlines, let alone having to drive all the way to Hollywood or Studio City every Monday (to pick up) and Friday (to deliver artwork). I'm also a musician, a guitar player who occasionally dabbles on the keyboards. I'm a big fan of music, especially LIVE shows, a live show can show what a bands REAL potential is. Whether they can capture what's happening on the studio recordings (or not). I like ART (still), anything from Van Gogh to the Brothers Hildebrandt, I love color and brushstrokes. I'm a grouchy old 53 year old bachelor and I have a parrot for a pet (PeeJay).

Wake up, youre dreaming

It was so HOT. I was sitting in the bathtub, trying to untie the sore muscles from a hard day at work. Painting houses is a fun job, but it takes it's toll physically. It was just starting to get dark...
