___________________________________Lofton Creek Records was formed in September 2002 when Harold and Vicki Shafer hooked up with Mike and Martha Borchetta. Harold recognized the immediate potential of Borchetta’s years of music biz experience and trusted Mike to repeat the success he’s had over the years with many other name acts. As VP of Curb Records Nashville, Mike signed Tim McGraw to Curb and the rest is history. Borchetta’s experience includes years in radio as promotion manager for many top labels including, RCA, Capitol and Mercury. He is possibly the most respected “radio man†in country music today. One radio program director recently summed it all up by saying “If Mike Borchetta calls you up and says he’s got a hit song for you, just say --duh--.†Mike constantly proves he knows how to find and develop hit acts.
