I am a mother of 3 wonderful children. I am happily married and a stay at home mom. I started back at the local community college this year, studying Pharmacy Technician...it has turned out to be a little harder than I imagined, but I will get thru it! My husband Mark is a wonderful man. He is a brick mason and has given me the luxury of staying at home and raising OUR kids! When we got together he took my son in as his own and has raised him to be a very polite young man. So to me that means alot, at least to me, because these days there are so many fathers that ditch their children, but I managed to find one that actually took in another mans child and has raised him as his own from the day we got together! We have been together since May of 2003, but just celebrated our TWO year anniversary this past December...WOW...how time flies!
About my children:
Austin is 9 years old. He is a great soccer player. but has decided to take a break from it. He thinks Nintendo DS and Playstation 2 and The Gamecube and the Wii are the best things ever invented and so we have had to start limiting his game time BIG time bc he would stay on it 24/7 if allowed! LOL!! I am so proud of him because he is doing so well in school. He has his weaknesses, but overall he is a very brillant child. He won the Most Improved Award for his writing last school year! He started the 3rd grade at a BRAND SPANKING NEW school that we have watched being built literally in our back yard! That school now has a name and it is Tyro Elementary School! It is so cool to see my child enter into a school as the very first class! The school is HUGE and has brand new EVERYTHING in it! Austin seems to have adjusted well and is making new friends! He has taken the role of being a big brother to two sisters VERY well.
Katie is 5 and she is my hell on wheels child. I love my little tomboy to death, but you have to be ahead of the game 24/7 when she is awake. Katie started More at Four this year, which is like a pre kindergarten class that goes to school just like elementary schools! She is doing well at it, so far! I am praying that her behavior calms down ALOT once she gets on a routine! She will continue speech this year at school, because she still has some issues with saying certain letters! She loves her Bubba and Sissy, but she still has the jealous times that appear for no reason. I have always heard that the middle child is so much harder cause they dont know where they fit in! I really believe this at times, because we show her so much love, but yet she still gets jealous.
Lauren is MY BABY!! She is almost 2 and so far she is the best baby that anyone could ever ask for. She is starting to show that temper, but we will get thru it! She has mouthful of teeth now! If she sees something she wants, then off she goes. She learned to run really quickly and chases her Sissy and Bubba all the time! It is really cute! She is also a climber...I belive in my heart that she will have broken a bone before she turns 3 because she is a daredevil and climbs up and onto everything! She has also learned to bite, and let me tell ya BABY TEETH HURT!!! I am hoping to make her into my girly-girl, but only time will tell.
