About Me

Well, aside from all the other stuff I wrote in earlier, here's the scoop. I like listening to fast music while I manipulate computer programs because I think it makes me go faster. I don't know if it's true, but I like the way I feel when I do it. I've moved my computer about 200 times from Dave's house to my house and back. We decided to move in together to make this easier. Most of my zen on the machine comes from these transactions and all the times we screwed up, but that's life, right? I like to learn from my mistakes, so I don't get too pissed when I make them. When I'm not at home or at work, I like to go out (silly). I'm an eagle scout, but what I liked the most about scouting was not the service projects and getting merit badges, it was going out in the middle of nowhere with just some key equipment and making the best of it. I've hiked the Appalachian trail from somewhere in North Carolina up to the middle of Pennsylvania (not at once) and most of those hikes were in the winter. I still have the same boots I had when I turned 12. They're branded. I hit my foot with an axe while wearing them (hard) and I still wear them from time to time these days. I like fires because I like to cut wood and there are few beautiful things you can just stare at for hours without getting bored or feeling embarrassed. The more of those you see, the more worldly you are. I'm going to go overseas sometime soon. I like machines because they take something as simple as electricity and convert it into something as complex as motion. The ways they convert power have always fascinated me so much that I took Mechanical Engineering. I sucked as a student. I'm going back because I think it's worth beating my head into the wall to do what I want to do with my life. Everyone's got a hobby. I have two. I just haven't started the second one yet.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

A girl who can keep up with me.Please, let there be a girl out there who is sweet, pretty, and likes even half of the same things I do...who DOESN'T have a boyfriend. It's killing me.
