About Me

"Today is the tomorrow we worried about, so live for today, hope for tomorrow and let yesterday fade away" I have completed 4 1/2 years of service in the Marine Corps, and now i'm unofficially DONE!!! :] Ok now more about me..... I have a laid back personality, I love to read, watch movies and chill. I also love Motorcycles...as you can see. I'm very passionate about firefighting, life safety, fire safety, prehospital care (EMT). I'd rather chill at home or a house party or a dive bar vice go to the club, but don't trip you might catch me at a club here or there. I'm easy to get along with and I know how to treat a woman. At first I might come off as shy, but once the ice is broken i'm alright. I love to make people laugh. I've been in some serious relationships and some quick ones, and all that has made me realize that "Love" is blind. Feelings are things that can't be controlled or avoided...so stop acting like kids and grow up! If your interested in somebody man up and give it a shot, whats the worst that can happen? She will say NO! O'well atleast you gave it a try. Thats the outlook I've taken in life and my relationships. You may only get one opportunity in life to do something and if you waste it being shy or scared you may never get it again. Also if there is a woman out there who is willing to show a brother something new let me know, i'm game for anything. I'd like to meet:

I like to meet somebody who is different than me. She has to be the one that just stands out and portrays confidence in both her perfections and imperfections!! Not based on her looks but how she holds herself, her attitude, her posture. If she can make me laugh and is down to hang with the fellas but still have that one on one time. Somebody to take home to mother!!! If you think that is you then hit me up for some conversation. Please keep in mind that I don't have time for games.

Hip Hop, R&B, and Gospel!! I feel that through music you can express yourself and your words more freely then just coming out the mouth. Has anyone ever listened to a song or dedicated a song to that special someone because the words of the song applied to your life or a particular situation? I know I have. There are songs out there that were made for special reasons and its your job to find the meaning behind the words and put it into your life. Kinda like this one...

Movies:

All time favorite,"Love and Basketball" and now "Ladder 49" and "Backdraft". I love action and scary movies, or suspense and thrilling movies. But wait we can't forget the all-time loving comedy!!

Television:

Books:

Well I love to read, I read a lot of Eric Jerome Dickey, Zane, Omar Tyree, Trisha R. Thomas. Mostly African American Authors....

Heroes:

My mother who has raised me and my brother by herself through the hardship of school and two jobs and did a damn good job. One more person who I would like to add to the hero section would be the late Ms. Sheila Herring. She gave her life on January 16, 2003 for the people of Norfolk and the Norfolk Police Department. To all I ask that you give a small prayer for her daughter who is being strong and taking care of herself in the absence of her mother who has moved on to a better place and to be apart of a greater plan that GOD has for us all. May she R.I.P.! Amen
