About Me

Born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Dean knew from a very young age that he would become a musician. He formed his first rock band 'Kiss This' being 13. Years later Dean went to Germany and his collaboration with Dave Dunhill and Mick Dash /Akropolis Music/ has resulted in two solo songs – ‘Don’t Go Away’ and ‘It’s Hard To Understand’ – being released on Bravo Hits in 2001 and 2003, having a big success and followed by ‘It’s Hard To Understand’ Maxi-CD release.Dean's music career doesn't just revolve around one project - he has an active writing team Uplift producing songs for other artists, works in his recording studio as a producer and performs regularly around Yorkshire club circuit. He's recording a new solo album at the moment: "The new material is the best so far so I'm excited about starting my proper solo album. The songs were co-written together with Matt Parker. I have picked out 8 songs from a list of 15 written in the past 6 months, plan to record them with the band, do some gigs and showcase it to a label in the near future."
