About Me

I am originally a NYer who is living in Georgia for the next 4 years or so. I really like it here though I am pretty jealous that no one in the North is melting once they step outside. I have been married for 1 year to my incredible husband, Christian. He is an officer in the Army and is currently deployed in Iraq so right now I am adjusting to the changes that brings. It's difficult being apart but we're staying positive, keeping busy, and will just end up stronger at the end of it. We have two awesome pups, Maxie and Bruiser, who are mother and son. They are adorable and I'm so happy we have them. I love my family and friends and am really lucky that they're so wonderful. I can usually be found with a coffee in my hand and my head buried in a book. Right now I'm nose deep in The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edward.
