About Me
I was born on October 28, 1986 to Ordean Watson and the late Wayne Battle. I am told I began to sing before I could speak clearly. The music in me comes form both my musically inclined paternal and maternal families. I traveled with my Mother and Father to appointments when they were singing with Rev. FC Barnes and Luther Barnes and the Red Budd Gospel choir. I started singing in the church choir at an early age. I began to receive solo invitations at age five. My love for music inspired me to join the band. I played the drums and the bells. I practice daily on the piano/keyboard, bass and acoustic guitars. I have been trained vocally by a professional musician. I served as the assistant Minister of Music at Morning Star Church where I play the piano, the drums, bass guitar and sing lead vocals.I started writing songs at the age of twelve. My songwriting influence is my mother and her sister, who are singers/songwriters. I have written over 4000 beautiful songs. I am known as the lyrical element. I write the lyrics produce and digitally master most of my music. I have recorded some at recording studios. My singing and performing influences are Michael Jackson, Usher, Ginuwine and Justin Timberlake.I perform at various functions such as weddings, banquets, parties and churches. I sing the National Anthem for churches in the area for Patriotic holiday functions. I have performed at the night clubs and on the local television station on several occasions. My music is played on the radio and in the club. I have performed in various cities such as Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Washington, etc. I am told I exemplify excellent stage presence and I always receive rave reviews after my performances.My most recent production is a twelve song album with a mixture of Rock with R&B. I also completed the production of a twelve song gospel album for a group called The Watson Family. The Watson Family album is doing well with CDs being sold practically everyday. I go to malls every week and perform which ends in CD sales. I have several artists that I am producing for Princess, Desean and my Mother Ordean just to name a few. My writing and producing services are being sought after by various artists. I have received a lot of positive feedback on my music from various parts of the country.I write and perform songs of all Genres (Rock, R&B, Country, Pop and Gospel). I dance with the moves of Chris Brown, Omarion, Justin Timberlake and Marcus Houston. . I want a career out of music because I believe I can be that new, that unforgettable and refreshing talent that is needed now. I feel I will be an asset to a record label if given the opportunity.
