My name is Brandon Martin, I am 23 years old, I am a six foot caucasian male with short brown hair and piercing blue eyes that have the power to hypnotize. I grew up in a loving and caring family, but like most my family was split up by divorce. I was an excellent student growing up until I got into high school, I became friends with people I probably shouldn't have and paid the price. I struggled with drugs for many years and used it as an excuse for all my problems, it turned out to be the problem. I ended up getting expelled from high school and decided not to go back so I dropped out after my sophmore year. Once I was clean I did however realize I needed to graduate, so I enrolled in a corispondance program and finished up my junior and senior year and got my diploma (I didn't settle for a GED). Today I am drug free and love everyday of it. I do however enjoy going out for drinks with friends. 9/11 effected me pretty heavily, it made me really question my security and freedom, something I really had never considered before. I pondered the thought of joining the millitary, I wanted to join the sniper program but in the long run I decided not to. I had also thought about enrolling in a C.I.A. program but again decided not to. I am now currently following my dreams of becoming a successful actor, writer and overall accomplished artist. I know what you're thinking "How do you decide to become an actor when you used to want to be in the millitary and C.I.A?". It's a simple answer, this is what I'm meant to do with my life, I am meant to be an actor and an artist, everything happens for a reason, I didn't do all the other thing's I had thought about doing because I wasn't meant to do them. I have been acting now for about a year and half and have loved everyday of it and continue loving each day I get to wake up and say "I'm doing what I want to do, I'm following my dreams, I'm not conforming to societies standards of working a 9-5 job." Millions of people come home from work each day and bitch about their job's, I say to those millions, "Don't you have dreams? Aren't there thing's you want to do with your life? QUIT!!!" I love my acting studio (Front Range Acting Studio) my coaches are amazing and my fellow actors are all very talented. I love being around people who share the same passion for the art as I do. Other than that, just trying to get to the next level, I plan on moving to L.A in June 2008 and can't wait to get out there. Wish me luck.
