Wheel of Time series if Jordan will ever end it. Just read Shogun and Tai-Pan love James Clavell so far. Wilbur Smith novels are pretty entertaining. I, Claudius is an amazing book if you get a chance you should read it. Right now I'm reading Stephen R. Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series. Oh and Dune is fucking awesome. I can't think of anything else right now but I know I've read a lot more.
