My Friend and I Luke Pabich formed Rude Awakening. Back in Santa Cruz, California in 1987.. Just jamming and then ready to find members.. Mike Pyle On Vocals, was our first singer... Rick Adams rythim guitarist. Played a few shows and got a cheap video gig of Mikes last gig before he went to college...Then we found Will Keen , for our new and improved demo.. Didn't last til but 1990, I got let go, and then they slowed down, a couple years after that, I went on to and formed Insabordinance.. Luke Pabich Went on to Good Riddance, for the last 11 yrs. or more.. and I did nothing since like 1993... After I sold my big pearl export kit, just hadnt touched a another kit for like 8 yrs. after I got remarried, in 2002. Then got my new kit Tama Rockstar a 5 piece, which was small to me, after having big kits like Louie Clemente and Dave Lomabardo and Lars Ulrich always inspired me to have a big kit and to play like there style of Thrash.. So, over the yrs. of drinking beers and shit, not accomplishing anything... I got to be in a band in Lubbock tx. called Self Hatred, and got to do two show both filmed.. with Hemlock headlining, so was basd ass to be the 2nd opener.. Nervous as hell though since it's been like 16 yrs. of nothing as one of my idol Louie Clemente.. At least we have that in common. so anyhow, my wife and I had to move to Austin , Texas for better job oppertunities, and hadn't jammed in over a yr. Hopefully this coming weekend sept. 9th, with my newest member Ron from Condemned Unit. I just hope I can get down and thrashing like I used back in the day where hair was flying everywhere.. playing just fucking THRASH FUCKING METAL!!!! Now, Im 40, and gonna still fucking rage the rest of my life away,,, Until I get more newer material I will put them up on the music box.. This is just an Idea of what Rude Awakening was and going to be again.. Just remember, It's been almost 20,,yrs. so. demos never sounded good back in the underground scene.. Thanks for looking on here, and being interested in Rude Awakening.. Hopefully I can get th is off the ground maybe for just playing shows around town. like an opener.. or so.
