This light is of a personal nature. It has several different elements the sconce, which appears to hold the entire piece all on its own, but it is what is on the inside that has the strength to hold everything up. This represents human kind. We try to hold and do everything on our own. We elevate ourselves above all things. The large sun that balances the three cylinders represents the deceiver who tries to stay between God and man. It does its best to look like Christ but there is no light of life that comes from it. The three cylinders represent the Trinity, (Father Son and Holy Spirit). Each cylinder has been pierced and hung by flames. The flames are the trials in life that make us grow. The color of the cylinders is significant as well as it represents Christ’s blood that he shed for our sins. Each of the sun burst have two nesting scrolls creating a swirl, this represents man after we come to know and love Christ. The swirls are set out from the cylinders to show that it is Christ that holds us and so His light will shine though us to the world.

I'm 34 years old and I have been welding for about 13 years. I have always had an artistic bent, but finding what it was that would give me an outlet for this talent took a few years.
