Ken Chartrau began experimenting with writing and creating melodies since his mid-teens. For every ten songs he created, one would stick. He was then given the opportunity to take classes at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, AZ. He went on to graduate in the upper 10% of his class with an Engineering degree. Now, with the proper tools and knowledge, Ken is able to share emotions, experiences and stories that are true to him and universal to others. Ken Chartrau has written and recorded all the above songs on the playlist. Lyrics, vocals, keys, drums and loops all provided by Chartrau. Michael Morscheck is responsible for the brilliant vocals on Paper Kites. Michael also provided the bass track for Paper Kites. Cory Lensing provided the brilliant guitar work on Paper Kites, Walk On and Groove 0. Cory also laid down the bass guitar for Walk On and Groove 0. B.O.S.H., Evolve and Apologize are all new creations and are more of a hybrid approach layering edgy distorted keyboard tones with clean keyboard tones. Groove 0, Walk On and Paper Kites were all recorded several years ago and using the "old school" approach. Layering in actual instruments. Thank you for taking the time to listen. ..
