Been payin' dues in this since 86'. I can't seem to get it out of my blood. I first got my taste of hiphop in Syracuse, New York. YoMtv Raps, RapCity, VideoMusicbox, and oh yeah, that show where " Dee Barnes " got smacked by Dr. Dre... Ha, ha. All 3 elements are alive and coursing through my veins. Graffiti, Djing, and Emceeing. My wall, as a teenager, was plastered with posters from Word Up! and Right On. Nothing but the lyrics. BigDaddy Kane, LL, RunDMC, Mc Lyte, KRS, and the list goes on. I've honed my craft, and am glad to say that the feedback I receive on my work is inspiring. But, that is real good for yall, because I want to make a lasting contribution to hiphop, that everyone can enjoy. I'm one fourth of the group " Seventyone ". I am a fairly easy-going type of guy that loves to laugh alot. Laughter is truly good for the soul, especially with these troubled times that are upon all of us. Beyond music, I have recently re-started my ascent up the ladder of spirituality. This involves deep study of " The Holy Scriptures ", and any and all information that pertains to prophecy, and revelation. I urge all of you to do the same...and find your purpose in this world! Everything I am doing, towards becoming successful in the current hiphop music industry, is for all of the children who are placed under " my watch ". Eventually, the day will arrive where they will be the benefactors of my hard work and efforts to rise above. I am a family oriented thinker who also believes that good parenting is the key to righteous minded children. I hope people are perceiving the " shift in consciousness ", that is currently ongoing. I am seeking to help the long overdue " renaissance " of meaningful hiphop, regain it's rightful place and importance. The " ICE BLING AND BIG RIM ERA " is thankfully on decline. And, while it has it's place within the industry and culture, it's signifigance in the lives of our people is over-emphasized!I like to build things with my hands...because you cannot beat the satisfaction of knowing you did something productive with your time. I am a car fanatic, and I love the bold and inventive style that hiphop has influenced the world with. Being from up North, my attitude is to lead, never follow. NOW IS THE START OF THE RETURN.
