? Since 1998 playing in Ol..Europe the band graps for more gold, is looking forward giving shows, creating new songs, still having fun and rocking the club and festival floors! On our last, brandnew recordings of spring 2008 were very exclusive appearances of GergÃ¶ Nagy and Attila Palagyi and Attila the "Percussion Body". Thanks to all of you! This band is a community of friends from Hungary and Germany from Veszprem (HU) and Memmingen (Southern GER). Band Members: Chris SchÃ¶ning: Vocals (lyrics); Kriki Szabo: Guitars, Backing Voc.; Balazs Cseh: Bass Guitar; Tamas Tatai: Drums, Percussion; Christian Hau: Guitars; The little history since 1999: Nomination for the official German Rock Band Contest (DRMV) in the finals of Bavaria and then the semi finals in Bonn. In the following years Midas Touch played in several clubs in Southern Germany. There have been some Open Air Festivals, the ..Memmingen City Festival... Also the ..Veterans Festival..in Willofs, Egelsee, Hinterberg, Leutkirch, Waldsassen, Gerolzhofen, Pfullendorf, MeÃŸkirch, Ulm. In 2008 Midas Touch recorded the last notes of their new CD at AMP-Studios in Band / Hungary compleeting it in June 2008 with 11 songs.In the following months Midas Touch appear on different stages between Munich, Vienna, Ajika and Budapest. In June 2008 it is the 1st time to play an acoustic set on a gig at the 2nd Folk Festival in Memmingen. Back in October 2008 they give shows in Ulm and at the End of Summer Festival in Willofs.
Influences: Everything in life is an influence - here the most important: Love, women, Mr. Mojo, Kurt, Mary J., Peyote, Cpt. Morgan, Absinth, Blues, Prog, Folk put together with ROCK. These great bands, we love to hear and listen, like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Mars Volta, Wolfmother, Iron Maiden, The Cult, The Tea Party, Thin Lizzy, David Bowie (as Ziggy Stardust), Iggy Pop & The Stooges and many many more...
