Every Wednesday you can join us for Live Bands and a top alternative DJ set.Entry is £1.50, Add to that our early bird drinks offer where slected drinks are £1 until 9pm.ALL BANDS - ANY ENQUIRIES ABOUT GIGS PLEASE CONTACT BLOOD & LIPSTICK (see Our Top Friends)INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SET-UPAT Bar Blu, Rhyl the capacity is approx 350, with band night numbers averaging at around 60 -180 punters thru' the doors.The club has recently been refurbished and is extremely clean and modern.The load in is at the rear of the club via a wide fire escape staircase.The stage is small and in the opposite corner of the venue with bands generally taking some of the dance floor space infront. There are 3 double gang 13 amp sockets for backline on the left of the stage area.The PA/lighting spec is as follows:FOH: Logic System MX Series 3kw PA with 4 X 600w 1X15 bass bins and 2 X 1X15/one inch 400w co axial mid/top cabs (sometimes supplemented by an extra pair of DAP Audio cabs). All these cabs have recently been refurbished with original Logic components.Amps: 3.5 KW total amp power. QSC and Matrix with Rane active two way crossover.Control: 16 channel m/core to FOH desk, Soundcraft Live LX 16/4/2. 6 Aux.Outboard: 2 X 2X31 band Behringer EQ (one FOH, one for monitors), 3 X dual DBX comp/lims.1 X Multi FX unit.Mics: 3 X Shure SM58, 2 X Shure SM 57, 1 X AKG D112 kick drum mic, 2 X Dap Audio pro 07 backline mics, 3 X Samson drum clip mics, 1 X Shure PG 58, 1 X Studiomaster KM91. 3 X Dap Audio Active mono DI boxes. Various boom mic stands.Monitors: 2 X Wharfedale active 200w 1X15 and one inch comp driver.Lighting: 10 x i-solution is 7 moving heads, 4 parcans above stage. Control via i-solution i-lead dmx desk. 1 Chauvet 1.5kw smoke machine (please use sparingly!)All FOH gear is situated in the DJ booth which is very close to the stage.This being dictated by the new layout of the refurbished club.
