Snow White

I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a 20 something living and commuting around the Washington D.C./Richmond area. Originally a native of Southern California, I've lived on the East Coast for about six years now. To be perfectly honest though, I will never consider myself anything else but a California girl. I lived briefly in Gambrills, MD while I finished high school at Elizabeth Seton but I have since moved to Chester, VA. Let's just say that I still haven't adjusted to "southern living."
I graduated from Marymount University a couple years ago with a degree in English (a focus in writing) and a minor in Graphic Design. As you may've noticed, I tend to write a lot. I'm a naturally verbose person and I can't stand people who try to look cool by writing five words on their Myspace pages. Minimalistic ideals will never be accepted in my world.
Here are some random things about me:
ø I get hiccups when I'm full.
ø I love the ocean and basically every other body of water,(I chalk it up to living in CA for so long) even though I hate getting wet.
ø I have a weird fetish for hair (drawing it, looking at it, playing with it). It turns me on.
ø I get sleepy when I read too much.
ø I like to do random things for my friends and by random...oh it can be random. I want to be a philanthropist when I grow up.
ø I will make pancakes for anyone that sleeps over at my house (whether you like them or not).
ø I have a severe infatuation for Tim Armstrong and all his musical exploits.
ø I love mornings so much that I wake up early to get all my work done.
ø I am politically correct so don't even try to use the words: homo, fag or cunt in my presence, that is unless you want to take your chances with getting punched in the face.
ø I tend to cry during romantic/sappy movies. I'm secretly a girly-girl...but lets not spread that around.
ø I am a British drama junkie.
ø I wear hoodies all year round 'cause I'm that "cool." It's not only that I'm a "cool" person, but I have a malfunctional internal heating system.
ø I like to read about gangs and generally violent topics like the hardcore punk movement.
ø When I sing; I sing at the top of my lungs. People can hear me over the music blasting out of my car speakers.
ø I tend to unintentionally fall asleep during homilies.
ø I can't cut in a straight line. I don't know why, but I simply can't.
ø I hate lying so 9/10 times I'll tell the absolute truth...regardless of how blunt it may seem.
ø One of my favorite things is to crank down the windows in my car, pop in a good CD and just drive. Sunset during the summer is one of the best times for a drive.
ø I choose who I swear around.
ø I like to give back rubs.
Here are some things that I hate:
ø People who purposely burp or fart in public. Outside of the house, it's completely inappropriate, learn some manners.
ø People who go to school and flunk out because they don't do their work. What's the point of paying for college/high school if you aren't going to put any effort into your work?
ø People who use improper grammar.
ø People who drive when they're drunk and who try to brush it off as something minor.
ø People who judge others before fully getting to know them. I will not pass judgement on a person until I've talked to that individual myself.
ø People who claim to "love a band" when they've only listened to one of their CDs. If you're going to claim to "listen" to a specific band, you need to know more than just one of their works; a band can drastically change in just the course of one CD.
ø People who measure themselves by what other people think.
ø People who are unable to respect other people's opinions/beliefs.
ø People who are unnaturally tan. When did orange become beautiful?
ø People who block their myspace profiles. Under certain circumstances it's understandable (i.e. in the case of band members/actors/management agencies), but why the hell do you have myspace in the first place if you don't intend on making "new friends?"
ø People who smash other people's mailboxes.
ø People who torture animals just for kicks (or just in general).
ø People who misuse the word "emo."
ø Myspace Whores. Numbers mean nothing. Get a fucking life, honestly.
ø Middle class white kids who try to act black. You sound and look stupid, so please just stop.
