DAN DAN

He was conceived into this world-a decision he had no part of; He is strong and confident-SMART-a man of principles and very religious. Life is not always fair to him at all, he knows he has no other choice than to hold on; He has dreams and aspirations and is quite aware that unless they're acheived there is no satisfaction;He believes there lies an extraordinary power behind education, and thats its the only tool that can free us from the system of propaganda and manipulation--and also of fear and corruption; There are times in his life when he thinks to himself "WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIVING?" Even situations he has been through--perhaps would drive a man to contemplate killing;Life is full of tests, struggles and heartaches--he knows that; And one of the biggest struggles he has had to deal with was when his mother-grandmother- died of a heart attack; He's a family man, he loves his mother to death; And what he cherishes most in life are the memories they shared--those he will never forget; He's grown now, but he cries almost everyday; "Father, guide and protect her" is what he says at nights when he prays;Some people in life have gone through the fire, some through the flood. Some have gone through great sorrow. And some, as sad as it is, never live to see tomorrow; Life, though hard, is invaluable; And not everything in life you're going to find comfortable;But when life rages and puts him through its hardest tests-and even sometimes pushes him down, causing him on his journey to stumble; He perseveres, believes in his dreams-and even dream some more--And continues to remain humble;He has learned through the teachings of his mother that "humility" is a treasure a lot of people are still trying to find. I'm encouraging you reading this poem to empower your minds and listen very closely to your surroundings; Be vigilant also, because this world is ending right in front of our eyes--the signs are clear--And a lot of people dont even know its happening;I am who i am! I know in whom i believe--And trying to change me is something you cannot do; Love me or hate me--thats about it; And if you hate me, I'll make loving you into a habit;
