Munera inicio sus estudios musicales en le escuela de musica Cristancho y luego en la Universidad Javeriana en Bogota.
En 1996 hace una gira como guitarista del grupo Ivan y sus Bam-Band. Luego viaja a Francia para continuar sus estudios en Ecole Nationale de Musique D'Evreux y Conservatoire Darius Milhaud al mismo tiempo que presenta su musica en diferentes cuidades francesas en bares, clubs y salas de concierto.
Munera a colaborado con otros artistas franceses como musico, arreglista y compositor.
Igualmente MUNERA participo en la apertura de conciertos para artistas Como Juanes, Cabas, y andrea Echeverri de Aterciopelados.
Despues de producir su propia musica en Colombia y Francia se asocia En Nueva York con Angel Fernandez( Marc Anthony, Ray Barreto, David Byrne,.....) Con quien produce el album "En Pleno Vuelo" Primer album en solitario de MUNERA una mezcla de Pop, rock y musica del mundo, con la participacion de grandes musicos como Ricky Gonzalez, Carlos Enrriquez, Richie Florez y Lewis Khan.

is Latin word that means “popular rejoice†is, furthermore, the last name of this talented Colombian artist, born in Bogota.
In his five years at the Cristancho Musical Center in Bogota, Munera studied Classical harmony, contra point, music theory, singing and classical guitar in the classical department, as well as harmony, improvisation and guitar in the jazz department.
He continued his musical work for two years at the Javerian University of Bogota.
In 1996 he toured Colombia as the guitarist for the Latin group Ivan y sus Bam-band. MUNERA traveled to France to further his studies at the Ecole Nationale du Musique d’Evreux and Conservatoire Darius Milhaud. During this time, he appeared in many French cities, in bars, clubs, and concert halls, presenting his music. He also collaborated with other French artists as an accompanist, arranger, and composer.
In recent years he has opened concerts for world-famous Colombian pop artists such as Juanes, Cabas and Aterciopelados.
After having produced his own music in France and Colombia, he became associated in New York City with Angel Fernandez (of Marc Anthony, Ray Barreto, David Byrne...), with whom he produced the project “En Pleno Vuelo†This is Munera’s first full-length solo CD, which is Latin pop-rock with elements of world music.
