Born in Silver springs, Maryland and youngest of five children, Nora Roberts married young to her first husband,Ronald Aufdem-Brink. With him she had two boys Daniel and Jason. Stay at home mom, Eleanor Robertson(now Nora Roberts aka J.D.Rob)began writing durn a blizzard in 1979.Her first book "Irish Thoroughbred" was published by silhouette in 1981. Her ideas for the male perspective, she claims, came from being around her boys. Nora has won awards from her colleagues, and the writing industry. It's been said she has sold over 294 million books, enough to fill the entire 'Giants stadium'. She now travels the world with her loving husband, Bruce Wilder(whom she married in 1985).
