Chad Freeman and Redline is a cover band based in the deserts of Arizona. The diversity of these musicians is second-to-none as their mix is almost impossible to classify. With versatility and a broad songlist, CF and Redline can adapt to fit nearly any situation. From honky-tonkin to hard-rockin, these guys put on one helluva show!!!
Chad Freeman comes to the band from Oregon with a brief stop in...New York City? Yep, Chad got his start in Oregon playing in the local bar scene and then made his way to NYC to do a few theater roles there. Wanting to get back to a less urban way of life, he headed back to Oregon, made a stop in California, and then settled in AZ. A marine biologist by trade (even though he is hell and gone from anything remotely resembling an ocean). Chad now does lead vocal duties and strums a guitar now and then too...
Dane Hunter came up from the rockabilly streets of Denver and toured the country with the band Oktober before settling in sunny AZ. He has years of experience in the music biz as well and brings some fantastic chicken pickin' to Redline. Dane also handles lead guitar duties for the Phoenix based punk/country band The Earps.
Dave Gertschen is a veteran to the Phoenix music scene and has made several full length records with local artists. He cut his teeth on the Mill Avenue scene when Mill Ave was still "cool". His tasty slide licks and meloides add a new dimension to Redline's sound.
Onstage, Chad Freeman and Redline are a rare combination of music and showmanship that consistently gets positive reactions at both corporate events and bar performances. The band infuses a lot of variety and originality into every song. You aren't gonna hear the same 40 songs you generally hear in country bars as these guys take the song and make it their own. With a great group of people and a passion for great music, you'll enjoy listening to Chad Freeman and Redline!
