God comes first in all. Through all adversity, God is the one who helped me through the trials and tribulations. My family means the world to me, I don't know what I would do without them. I have the best mom in the world and I love her with all my heart. My sister is one of my best friends despite our 7 year age difference, life without her wouldn't be the same. I look up to my maternal grandparents who have been married for over 40 years with 5 beautiful kids, well they are all grown up now but their life is inspiring to me. They are the best. I love my Aunt Loraine who has shown me what it means to have strength and fight when you feel like you want to give up. I cherish the people closest to me and they are as close as it gets. I have great cousins,they are all characters in a good way and they are my everything as they have brought me through many hard times. If I lost any of them, I think life would be grim for me because they are the most important to me in terms of people in my life. As for me, I am laidback and I love to chill. Don't take that as I don't like to work as I love to accomplish things, no matter how big or small. I take life in strides, go with the flow but controlling that flow. I am a busy woman and I love it as time is a precious element of life and once lost can never be regained so take the time to appreciate your life, the good and bad. I love challenges, I love the feeling of completing things that people say I won't and I love being sane...lol. It's funny but honestly nobody likes to be stressed out and with the control that I have over my life and self, I don't let ordeals get to me. You go through situations for a reason, just take it and learn from it. Don't get mad. I always try to remember the serenity Prayer "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference". Life is good, I can't complain right now! Live it UP!
Updates: LIFE IS GREAT!!! GOD is so wonderful! I feel so blessed and I have to shout it on my myspace page, GOD is GREAT!!! If you don't know Him, you should know Him because He is a wonderful God and He loves you and I, all the same!!!! I have to get some things off my chest, I am growing up, please do not expect the CHANTAL of yesteryear to be the CHANTAL of today. Growth is a wonderful experience and if you stay stagnant in your life and expect others to do the same then you need to raise the bar of your expectations of yourself and others. I know who I was before and I know who I am now! I am a woman about change and positivity in life, not just for myself but for everyone. If people understood the power that they hold inside of them, everyone would be getting up, standing up and using that power to accomplish so many great deeds. We live in a world that is so corrupt right now and we sit here knowing this but we do nothing. Why is that?
I choose to live by God's will and not by the standards of man, I choose to be the change I want to see and not distracted by the forces of evil. God will protect me and see me through for it is He who placed me on this earth to be good and do good. I refuse to do wrong even though it has somehow become acceptable by the sad standards of man, Is this the life you choose as your future? Well not me, I choose to fight for the lacking good of society today. I am perfect but I want a better world and I will stand and fight for that.
