Riff Raff(rif' raf') , n. 1. Those people regarded as of no consequences or merit. 2. TrashFormed in Central Florida in March of 1988 under the pretensions of having a good time and making the kind of music you lose your virginity to. The four members that make up the band are as unusual and as different as you can get. It's no surprise that that's what makes the music so versatile and relentless. Just one listen to the bands originals leaves the listener spellbound.
The real stimulation could only be experienced by seeing the band live onstage. The no holds barred, no rules attitude is what transforms a normal Rock 'N Roll show into a real event. It's not unsual to see the members of the band leaping off the drum risers, playing their instruments flat on their backs or running thru the audience trying to get everyone in on the act. Spectacles like these are only experienced in concert halls and arenas. Riff Raff are firm believers in giving their audience more bang for their buck always performing each show without a setlist and just winging it taking it as it comes. Thats what made each and every RIFF RAFF show unique.
