About Me

I've been living in Virginia for almost 2 years now with my wonderful husband, Kevin. Kevin's in the Navy on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower here in Norfolk. We've been married now for a year and I've loved every minute of it. We don't have any kids yet, but we do have our fur baby, Shasta. We rescued her from the SPCA here and she's definitely full of energy and personality. We just survived our first (and hopefully only) deployment. Being apart for 8 months was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I never in a million years thought that life would bring me here but I am so glad that it did and I'm the happiest I've ever been!

My Interests

Music! listening, writing, playing... going to concerts, drawing, cooking, reading, .. games, watching the food channel, skiing, going to the movies... sitting at home with Kevin, working on the yard, and improving the house

anything classic rock... i'm going through a classic rock phase right now because it's such great music! Especially Tom Petty, Journey, Steve Miller Band, the Eagles, REO, and Santana. I'm also starting to get into some country... I guess that's what living in the south can do to you.

Television:

HEROES! That is my favorite show of all right now. The Office, Scrubs, Sex and the City, Earl, AMERICAN IDOL!!!, The Biggest Loser, and anything on the food channel
