Well I am really not good about talking about myself. Soooooo here is a ruff draft. I am from a small town in Western Kentucky. Small as in 300 people small. I grew up about 45 min. from Paducah. My love as a kid was the circus which has stayed with me. I joined my first circus as a clown when I was 17. Right out of High School. It was Liebeling Bros Family Circus. A small one ring show that plays towns for about 3 days in small towns and then moves to the next town. I have alot and I do mean ALOT of storys from that show. I mean, how many people can say they have shared a bed with a Miget that dresses up like an alain. LOL. I was on and off that show for about 3 years. Since then I have been on a few other shows. Last year I made the big move to Gainesville, Fla. With a car backed with just enough room for me to drive. I made the 12 hour drive to a new adventure. While down there I worked retail and helped a freind with gigs. I had a blast with that. I have to say doing those shows was one of the best times I have had in a long time.
Now for the other part of Gypsy!
Nightly after my show, people come up to me and ask me all kinds of questions. The ones I recall being asked the most are: "Who does your hair?" "Who does your makeup?"
Right off the bat, let me start by saying "I am a FEMALE IMPERSONATOR!" This is a person who dresses in drag for entertainment purposes only or, of course, LARGE sums of money. So with a swish of my hips and a stroke of a makeup brush, I became a major success in a complicated and controversial job market. I'm a business man by day and a female superstar by night. The reality may be that a am a man, but the illusion is that I am a woman! With the whole world at my fingertips, I still keep reaching for more.
