08 Is here and Im just blessed to still be doing what I love,and thats performing and writing music, Ive had the honor of performing with some of the best musicians,and vocalist. I started playing eletric guitar, then switched to bass guitar after hearing the great bassist Larry Graham {creater of the thump and slap style} play. Drums are another instrument I enjoy playing, along with the keyboards I use to help write my songs.I'm looking to get my songs placed in movies,T.V.video games, wherever I can fit in.Ive had the pleasure in 07 of touring and performing with the Solid Gold Dance Party as bass player in the back up band featuring Taste of Honey,Peaches and Herb,Maxine Nightingale,France Jolle,Thelma Houston,Anita Ward, and starring Village People.Other artist ive performed and recorded with are BB King's drummer Tony Coleman,Martha High background singer w/ James Brown,now on tour with Maceo,Sheldon Reynolds former guitarist w/EW&F, George Clinton,also Darrell Clinton son of George Clinton,Robert Brookins EW&F music director,to name a few.One of the proudest acheivements was fronting my own band ZFUNK performing covers and my originals.As I mentioned before songwriting is where my heart is, and my goal is to make a career of it.Anyone interested in needing my sevices, be it as a bass player,songwriter,collaborator, can reach me at
