Tommy T-bone Caradonna

About Me

Tommy was born March 29th, 1965, of Italian immigrants, Antonio and Eliana Caradonna in Columbus Ohio. He, the middle sibling along with older brother Sully, and younger sister Annamaria, grew up in a traditional Italian home and attended catholic school grades 1 through 12. In the midst of growing up in the outer suburbs of Columbus, Tommy developed a strong appreciation for the music of the day. With brother Sully, and next door neighbor Mark "Mooch" Neff, Tommy started playing guitar influenced by the music of Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Kiss, Rush, VanHalen, and of coarse the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. He also developed a deep love for Motown, Funk, and the top 40 played on the radio. With literally farmland in front and behind his house, music was home for Tommy, and he embraced it passionately.Shortly after graduating high school, Tommy moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a professional musician. He attended the Musicians Institute as a guitar player with fellow students Jeff Buckley and, Paul Gilbert. Though before graduating, Tommy decided to pick up the bass. He arrived at this decision after attending auditions in L.A. and realizing the bass players weren’t that good. So, Tommy saw an opportunity, and purchased an old beat up 69 Fender P bass, that he fondly nick named "Sloppy bitch", and began to school himself with all kinds of different bass playing styles. After a few years of what he calls the the couch and floor tour, and gigging with local bands, Tommy landed a audition for former Runaways guitar player Lita Ford. On the heels of Lita’s Double platinum selling album "Lita", Tommy appeared in several of Lita’s videos including "Kiss Me Deadly". He did a world tour opening for artists such as Ted Nugent, Udo, Ingwie Malmsteen, Poison, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bon Jovi. After a successful tour, Tommy returned back to L.A. in search of more hired gun work. He then got hired by rock legend Alice Cooper for his Trashes world tour. This was a major accomplishment for an Italian kid from the Midwest. Tommy later did some more touring with Lita on her Dangerous curves tour, and also filled in on a White Lion tour as well with various other artists and bands. In 2000, Tommy joined band Multiplug and got signed to A&M records and recorded a record with producer Marc Waterman. Multiplug was a short lived situation. Today Tommy is still touring for other artists and doing session work for producer Otto D’Agnolo at Chaton studios in Phoenix, Arizona. Were he is writing, recording , and producing his own material. Then came Razorbliss! There is not a more appropriate name for Columbus, Ohio band razorbliss. Frontman / vocalist Randy Razor, founding member / bassist Tommy Caradonna (previously of Alice Cooper, Lita Ford), guitarists Mark Nye & Drake Tulloh, and drummer Matt Mees deliver a fresh take on metal, endeavoring to create a sensation born of spectacle, bombast, and melody, all the while adhering to a strict sense of professionalism.Comedy of Errors, the first full-length album by razorbliss, destroys expectations of what a band is capable of on their first outing. Placing equal emphasis on hooks and heaviness, they concoct a sound that is sharp, electric, and bound to drag the listener kicking and screaming into a state of rapture. Euphoria through evisceration, pleasure from pain. Lyrically, the songs serve as snapshots of vice-ridden souls, twisted hearts, murder, greed, and a character likely to wink and smile as he slits you up the middle: Nicoteen. Track by track, the record serves as a shot in the arm to the currently bleak, visionless state of modern rock.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
