About Me
Mad Minute formed while serving time together in Joliet Prison. Not permitted to use electrical instruments, the songs were orignally written and perfomred in the yard using a pair of toothbrushes, a can of gasoline, an old toilet seat, several dozen rubber-bands and their imaginations. Once their respective paroles came through, they re-formed and tried recreating this unique sound in the Chicago club scene, but after a series of disasterous shows (one involving a full scale riot resulting in the fatality of a minor) they realized that it didn't seem to work as well when they weren't drinking fermented toilet wine, so they elected to move to electric instruments. They have been going strong now for a little over a year, punching people in the face with their music and spreading their message of intolerance and apathy to young people all over the midwest, and soon the world!I guess I'm also supposed to mention so we can be "taken more seriously" that we've been around for a while in different respective bands such as Out of Place, Skud Farkus, Forgotten Youth, Boy Reckless, The Dead Hearts, Talman Project...etc. and have respectively opened up for the likes of The Misfits(Without Glenn Danzig), The Germs(without Darby Crash), Agent Orange, Leftover Crack, The Effigies, Bouncing Souls, Channel One, River City Rebels, The Tossers, Flatfoot 56( then again who hasn't), Secret Agent Bill and some Anti-Flag side project I can't remember the name of. We're sure you don't care.
BYOFL...old school.
