X.U.P.E.M. is also known as Tansu Kaner, been in Turkish electronic music scene since years under very different names and bands. Now, under X.U.P.E.M. name - a name combination of different projects, not used since couple of years - Tansu Kaner is performing alone. He is into various kinds of electronic based music like chill out, lounge, dance, minimal techno, happy house, trance, idm, vocal house as well as real-time sampling and programming beats and effects on stage with different bands such as "tamburada". A Turkish local band which is more into combining jazz with electronic music. "tamburada" means "right here" in Turkish language, meaning Istanbul for the band members as the main location of the music created. "tamburada" can be checked out from www.tamburada.com and google.
Tansu has just released Point Hotel..s "Sweet Dreams" album on September 2006, especially done for Point Hotel itself. The album has been produced by Gokhan Ozbek (Point Hotel..s CEO and owner) and Tansu Kaner. Ozlem Simsek and Ceren Bektas contributed to the album with their beautiful vocals.
