i thought it might have been time to update some of this shit. my names jessika, im 25, i live in new paltz ny. i work as an assistant at collage hair and colour, i waitress, and im pretty bad ass. i really enjoy photography and music. you can usually find me doing something that revolves around hair, photos, art or cooking. im really enjoying the space im in right now. im very much in love and it is honestly probably one of the more awesome things thats ever happened to me. i like learning, love, adventures, and good hangouts, but who doesnt?
i like dis: going to shows of all kinds but mostly hardcore and metal. taking and sharing pictures. cooking (especially for others) good vegan and gluten free food. art. singing my heart out. movies that make me think. sex, snuggling, kissing. road trips and randomness. doing hair. good coffee and tea. bonding with people. making new friends. indulging in my nerdom (comics, video/board games, magic the gathering). tattoos. really experiencing the small things in life and genuinely loving it.
i have pretty strong convictions, but ill listen to yours. im strongly political, i dont agree with our government, other governments, corporate culture and how fucked this world economy is. there are other ways, and i just want to see a proliferation of peace and well being for all people, not just rich/white people. call me a leftist, a socialist, communist, ignorant, just dont disregard my thoughts because they disagree with yours. im sick of hearing people say "i cant do shit, why should i care, it doesnt effect me." it does effect you, their decisions effect everything around you, for good or bad. apathy with strangle you. seek your own truth, back your shit up with knowledge. in the words of smoochie the rhino, "you cant change the world, but you can make a dent."
this all sounds so terribly serious its ridiculous, ill probably delete it soon.
