Ive been into rap since the first time I heard it and I just didnt hear it, I felt it says Cool. From then on I knew I was destined to be in the rap game. While he was trying to get a record deal, Cool stayed busy trying to perfect his rap skills. Im a PERFECTIONIST says Cool If it's not the way it needs to be, I wont quit until it is. Even if that means doing a verse over 20 times, the hook, getting the timing right whatever it takes. Ive had quite a few run ins with the law even to being unjustly shot by police and it was then that I realized I had to stick with my rap music. Im the peoples artist & I say that because without the people there is no Too Cool. So I stay close to the streets & the people because if I dont give the love how can I expect it. My kids are a big part of my inspiration. Theyre my whole world, when Im feeling like Im about to lose it, I use them to keep me focused, They anchor me. There were times when I really wanted to just say fuck this shit due to a lot of the obstacles, but then I think about my kids and how I have to make sure their future is secure. Daddy never been a quitter, my motto is I refuse to lose! I can honestly say GOD made a change in me and in my life. He showed me between all the death & destruction there was something more, which made me want to live. So now Im more careful about the decisions I make.
