Throughout middle school and high school he continued, and during his junior year achieved first chair in the Arizona All-State Band. During his junior and senior year, he performed with the Tucson Philharmonia Youth Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Suzzette Battan. He also helped teach the middle school portion of Jazzwerx, the education portion of the Tucson Jazz Society. Currently, he is working on his bachelor degree in saxophone performance at Northern Arizona University, studying classical saxophone under Jonathan Bergeron. Brennan's past teachers include Tom O'Kelley, Mike Keepe, Mike Kuhn, Brice Winston, and Kelland Thomas.
