My Interests

Music is my business and business is good :p Well, what can I say..music, fast cars.. you know the drill, right? Life on the fast lane! I'm a postitive thinker who likes to enjoy life and make the best of every situation that life may throw at you. Its true that life is not "sweet" all the time..trust me, I've had my share of hard knocks.. but you just got to keep getting up..life is really short if you think about it.. and I want to squeeze all I can out of it. I like meeting people from all over, specially if they have my same interests. I love to travel and do as much of it as I can, discover new places, new cultures and learning a few new things in the process..for example: that the best pizza is not actually in Italy but in Norway! What?? you might ask..well, my man, its true! go figure! I like networking, getting to know some cool and interesting people and make new friends...that is definitely the most satisfying aspect of traveling.. I also like to mountain bike, BMX , consider myself very artistic and appreciate art, no matter how its expressed.

Music:

ahhh...music.. where should I start..well, I'm very open minded about it. here are a few artists I like and then you can categorize me: Judas Priest, Witchcraft, Miles Davis, Cecilia Bartoli, Yan Thiersen, Funeral Mist, Bergthron, Deathspell Omega, Helloween, Jorn, Jaded Heart, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, The Cult, Pagans Mind, Masterplan, Thunderstorm, Saint Vitus, Candlemass, Darkthrone, Masters Hammer, Abigail, The Cult, The Cure, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Circulus, Dope Stars Inc., London After Midnight, Hocico, Agonoize, VNV Nation, Velvet Cacoon, Starbreaker, Ondskapt, Mayhem (Attila and Dead era), Masterplan, Doro, Brainstorm, Belphegor, Pestilence, Vlad Tepes, Ancient (Cainian Chronicles and prior) Eternity, Katatonia, Edguy, Alison Goldfrapp, Oasis, Mysticum, Vanden Plas, At Vance, Behemoth, Azaghal, Watain, DHG... well, you get the picture. I like anything from 70's rock like Dust, Luv Machine and such to southern rock like Mountain and Stevie Ray Vaughn, 80's like Scorpions, Maiden, Priest and all the metal giants, early new wave like Fad Gadget and Visage into Goth like Christian Death, Fields of the Nephilim (who are not really goth) The Cult (them neither :P) Faith and the Muse, Doom metal like Iron Man, Solitude Aeturnus, Well of Souls, Doomshine.. Funeral Doom like Skepticism, Tyranny, Autumn and so on. Death Metal like Carcass, Death, Asphyx, Dismember and all the variations of extreme metal from thrash to death rock ie. Babylon Whores..now, are they really death rock?? I think more than The 69 Eyes..definitely! Black Metal, my personal preference..from the old days where bands like Blasphemy, Profanatica, Root, Beherit and Goatlord ruled the earth, to the French "Legion Noir" of Vlad Tepes, Torgeist, Moevot, Evol, Belketre. The "Union of lost souls" later materialized as "Moonfog" and most bands ended on its roster, anyway..to the present day 27 million black metal bands worldwide! hehe... seriously though, I live and breathe black metal..I admit. And have currently immersed myself in the underground world of electro and industrial..I have also been avid to Blues, Jazz and 20's and 30's French Music..why? you might ask, I really don't know....Cold Meat Industry bands like Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, Rome and lots of ambient!

Movies:

anything artistic, preferably silent and black and white...I'm pretty picky about movies. But hey, I just saw Stardust and I thought it was great! But i'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan.. so there! Quintin Tarantino flicks, Mad Max.. anything Fantasy.. since I'm an endless dreamer who loves dragons, faraway lands and specially damsels in distress..hehe

Television:

hmm.. what's that?? well, I do watch it on the weekends to get my football fix..

Books:

Too many...way too many...anything by Asimov, Pierce Anthony, Ionesco, Neruda, Borges, Summers, and all that old mason, parapsychological stuff intrigues me.

Heroes:

hmmm... the experiences in life that i've gone through..the moments of solitude and loneliness i've felt...they definitely have made me stronger and have shaped me into who I am now.
