About Me

Hola amigos. I am Tasha. A girl with aspirations and faults. A girl who cares with a pure heart. A girl who has changed for the better in so many ways. A girl who is slowly but surely leaving her insecurites behind her. A girl who is independent and audacious. A girl who loves fashion and art and expression. A girl who would drop everything just to lay in the sun and listen to music. A girl who may not say much at times but is always pondering concepts and revolutions. A girl who loves her Lord more than anything. A girl whose main goal in life is to better someone else's. A girl who dreams of a world with no judgements or stereotypes. A girl who can only wish to be like the ones she loves. This is me. Hope you enjoy. fashion layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments

My Interests

I love sports...watching them, playing them. I may not be the best but it's so dang fun. I also like to write. It helps me escape from my problems and lets my creativity shine. Here's a short list of things I enjoy: swinging, roller blading, rolling around in the grass, road trips, irises, puppies, cd shopping, used book stores, vintage and thrift store clothes, art museums, my niece and nephews, haunted houses, computers, super mario, time at home, mountains, singing, church, driving.

I'd like to meet:

People in general! Bring on the socializing!

Music:

Oh music, me gusta! I like a lot of different bands artists. I have always loved singing and I admire those who are ambitious enough to have a career in music. Writing is also one of my passions and the lyrics in songs are so important to me. Here's a short list of my newest favorites: Juliet Simms, Corey Crowder, Snow Patrol, Jack's Mannequin, Rise Against, Waking Ashland, Pink Spiders, Regina Spektor, Mest, Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, Green Day, Secondhand Serenade, Mae, Mindy Smith, Michelle Branch, Queen, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, Aqualung, Anna Nalick, Meg & Dia, Switchfoot....and so much more!

Movies:

I just love them! My favorite are scary movies and I'm so happy to have Kimmy there to watch them with me. They're either really messed up or cheesy. For some reason, I like that they make me both laugh and freak out at the same time. I also love comedies. Whoever does not like having a good laugh has seriously got to re-evaluate their life. Laughing is the best way to burn calories and rejuvenate yourself! Embrace our youth! Giggle a bit!

Television:

I'll admit that I'm a sucker for reality TV: Survivor, Real World, VH1 shows, Flavor of Love and now I love New York!, Amazing Race.... I really like the old 80's and 90's shows too like Full House, Saved by the Bell, Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Step by Step...

Books:

I will save you the burden of reading such a long list but here are a few of my favorites: 1984 by George Orwell Any and all books by Chuck Palahniuk (especially Invisible Monsters) Heart of Darkness by Joseph ConradI love tons!

Heroes:

Marilyn Monroe of course! She's a size 10 and still one of the biggest beauty icons in history! Ladies, we gotta thank her for showing us that beauty does not come in a number! On a more serious note though, my heroes surround me every day. I cannot look up to some famous celebrity who I've never met. My family, friends, and even people I just observe are all heroes to me. I admire everyone for the little things they do because those little things mean more than anything that deals with money or superficial things. Everyone gives love to someone else and seeing that and learning that from everyone around me makes me so incredibly happy. So, thank you, from me to all of you. If no one else appreciates the little things you do, I do. I may not always express it but I do. And I thank you for displaying such goodness for those who either don't experience it or have never been exposed to it. You all are heroes, each and every day!
