About Me


A musical career that started at the age of 8 has come full circle to an independent label and production company. Manny a.k.a. 8th Street has worked with independent groups and artists such as Los Primeros, OhD and a few new up and coming indie artists. Some of 8th Street's music has been featured on MTV's Road to Menudo. Working with LP 8th Street's music was also featured on local radio stations such as Zol 95 and local and worldwide TV networks such as Telemundo and more!

Influences: My music reflects a variety of styles. I produce hip hop as well as latin music but some major influences in my music come from Cuban artists such as Celia Cruz, Los Van Van, and Beny More. Even in some of the Reggaeton you will hear a little Cuban style sometimes and it is that style that differentiates my music from the rest.
Sounds Like: All music sounds like another artist but I like to think that I put my unique style blended with that of the artist who I am producing, making a unique sound. My music has some afro-cuban influences and so even in the electronic music I tend to put that little percussion in the background.
