one day at lunchtime when i was in junior high, i was walking down to the local corner store to get some candy. it was a pretty nice day, a bit overcast, but not too bad. i believe jim and shawn were with me. anyway, i think i got some cherry blasters.. mmmmm cherry blasters.. so i was leaving the store and i saw my friend scott coming toward me. he was with two of his friends, guys i didn't really know. scott says "he pete, can i have some candy?" then i said "sure" then one of his friends, who didn;t know my name (and didn;t hear scott say it) said "frank, can i have some candy too?" so then i said " sure thing" with a laugh (because my name's not frank) the following saturday soccer tryouts started. low and behold scotts friend was there.. when he saw me, he said "hey frank" . then we ended up on the same team.. and he continued to call me frank. then other teamates started calling me frank, and so did the coach... and the name just stuck. a few people still call me frank.
