Nikos Roussakis was born in Athens. He studied Classical and Modern singing (tenor), and music theory (Harmony, Counterpoint & Fugue).
In 1991 he joined Guardian Angel, one of the few Greek power-prog metal bands of its time, as the lead singer, lyricist and co-composer. Until the year 2000, he did numerous gigs all over Greece with Guardian Angel and released two records "Beyond the twilight" (single - 1995) and "Oblivion Seas" (1997)
He also worked as a session tour singer for Rust (1991) and Angelo Perlepes’ Mystery (1995).

From 2002 till now he sings in two cover bands: Big Trouble (funk, pop, disco, rock) and Rock Review (classic rock 60’s, 70’s).

Since 2005 he is a member of the highly acclaimed “Fons Musicalis” choir, under the direction of Mo Kostis Konstandaras. He participated in the W.A. Mozart’s “Die Zauberflute” (mus. dir. Sir Neville Mariner - 2005), “Die Zauberflute – for kids” (mus. dir. Aleksandros Myrat - 2006) in Megaron Mousikis Athinwn, in Mikis Theodorakis' "Canto General" (mus. dir. M. Mihailidis - 2006) in Megaron Mousikis Thessalonikis and in various concerts all over Greece performing classical and modern works.
Other collaborations include concerts with Giorgos Dalaras (DEH Choir - Megaron Mousikis Athinwn - 2007) and Giannis Parios (Recital mias fwnis - Megaron Mousikis Athinwn & Herodio - 2007)

In 1999 Nikos Roussakis started his involvement with the musical theatre, at first as a member of the choir (1999 – Showtime, A tribute to A.L. Webber – American College of Athens) and then as an assistant musical director (2000 - A.L. Webber’s “JOSEPH and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” – Theatro Katia Dandoulaki) (2002 - David Yazbek’s “The Full Monty” - Theatro Porta). In 2003 he started taking acting lessons.
In 2005 he joined, as a musical performer, the show “The Magic of the Musicals”, (a highlight of the best Broadway and West End musicals).

In 2007-2008 he joined the show "ESCAPE" at Vretania Theatre, a new musical production by N. Ventouratos, starring Sia Koskina & Lambis Livieratos.

In October 2008 "ESCAPE" is back, this time at Broadway Theatre, and Nikos Roussakis is once again one of the Musicult Reactors. Check out the upcoming shows !!!
