Born in the Mid-West region, Cleveland, Ohio, Chosen journeyed from his hometown to Southern Louisiana's, Slidell every other year in regards to parental stability. His journey in Hip-Hop began in the mid-eighties inspired by groups like Run DMC, artist like L.L. Cool J, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, N.W.A. the Fresh Prince, Public Enemy, KRS-1 and almost any rapper he felt had something meaningful to say. When the Hip-Hop movement began and the rest of the world thought it would fail, well, that is when Chosen fell in love with hip-hop.
As years past, and new artist approached the rap game with various styles and lyrical content, Chosen grew fonder of the music, being able to relate to this more in your face replica of real life situations now applied by hungry artist approaching the game. Artist like, Biggie, 2 Pac, Snoop, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Nas and a number of other artists who brought the lifestyle of the hood to Hip-Hop. At this point Chosen began his writing using it more as therapy in a sense.
As the industry expanded and even more artists with unique styles hit the scene, groups like, Outcast, Goodie Mob, Refugees, and Bone Thugs, along with artist like Twista, Eminem, Mystikal, Ludacris and many more, Chosen felt it was time to tell the world his story. .
In the beginning of 2006 Chosen began to gather his resources, formulated a plot and with help of Jay-Mann “Da Message” along with other colleagues and has now formed an organization, which has reason to be an elite force soon to overshadow the entertainment industry. D. Alliance Productions/HIT’M (History In The Making)My influence comes from a number of artists in da industry, but these are da few that definitely need to be mentioned. Now if there is anyone on this list that you don't know or haven't heard of, go to your nearest music store or jump online and purchase their music and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. For realness, Devin the Dude, Smoothe Da Hustler, Trigga Da Gambler, Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and Jay-Z. For style and flow Twista, Krayzie Bone, Snoop, Ludacris, Juve and T.I.
